Back in 1970, our hotel was built, initially a small guesthouse with 14 rooms run by mother Zelia and father Silvano. The name of the guesthouse was a tribute to their first daughter Michela. In 1990, following the loss of father Silvano, the management together with mother Zelia was taken over by all three of us children: Michela, Paolo and Ivan. In 1992, we decided to make improvements to the guesthouse, expanding and completely renovating it, giving birth to Hotel Michela. The three of us children and our mother share the management roles: Paolo and Zelia take care of the kitchen, Michela manages the dining room and reservations, while Ivan, a versatile all-rounder, takes care of maintenance, excursions and the bar. In 1997, the first wellness centre was built, which was then completely renewed in 2015. Another important innovation came in 2004: we focused our attention on gluten-free cuisine, obtaining A.I.C. certification, with very positive feedback and a growing clientele.
