Walks, paths, shelters and high altitude
The Val di Sole is a highly sought-after destination for all families and sportsmen who wish to enjoy a mountain vacation among trekking and excursions.
Rich in greenery, pastures and protected by the Dolomites with peaks over 3000 meters high, the Val di Sole is also in a strategic position to reach the nearby valleys and the highest peaks of the Brenta Dolomites, a World Heritage Site - Unesco.
For example, during your stay in Val di Sole you can visit the nearby Val di Pejo, thanks to the ski lifts leading up to an altitude of 3000 meters.
For a walk at high altitude you can take the cable car to Pejo Fonti and in a few minutes you will find yourself among the pastures of the Tarlenta locality. From here you can see the Presena glacier at over 3,000 meters above sea level!
And for those who enjoy family outings without being particularly sporting and equipped, you can also take the paths that will take you to the Stelvio National Park, among mountain meadows, dense forests and rivers that roar on the slopes.
Close to the Val di Sole and Val di Peso, you can also go to the Val di Rabbi, which, starting from the Val di Sole, goes into the heart of the Stelvio National Park.
